Sebastian Zawadzki is a contemporary classical composer, film composer and Nordic jazz pianist based in Copenhagen, Denmark. His music moves between Nordic jazz, contemporary classical composition and cinematic piano music, creating a distinctive sound that combines emotional depth, atmosphere and storytelling.

His original works range from contemporary classical piano music and chamber music to cinematic orchestral compositions, Nordic jazz and experimental instrumental projects.

As a composer and pianist, Zawadzki has released numerous original albums and developed a diverse catalogue spanning solo piano, chamber music, jazz ensembles, cinematic works and experimental projects. His music is characterized by a strong melodic identity, a deep connection to improvisation and a constant search for new artistic forms.

Alongside his own projects, he is a member of the Adam Bałdych Quintet and appears on recordings released by ACT Music, one of Europe's leading jazz labels. His work has brought him together with internationally acclaimed artists including Anders "AC" Christensen, Felix Pastorius and many other leading musicians from the contemporary jazz and classical scenes.

As a film composer and creator of music for film and TV, Zawadzki has worked as an arranger for Academy Award-winning composer Jan A.P. Kaczmarek and continues to develop original music for visual media. He collaborates with the Copenhagen-based publisher A New Story (Upright Music), creating contemporary instrumental and cinematic music for sync licensing, film, television and media productions.

His music has been presented in prestigious concert halls and venues across Europe and beyond, including Berliner Philharmonie, where he performed on invitation from the Berliner Philharmoniker, the legendary Jazzhus Montmartre in Copenhagen and numerous international festivals and concert series.

Alongside his activities as a composer and recording artist, Zawadzki regularly performs as a resident pianist at Epicurus in Copenhagen, following an invitation from renowned Danish pianist Niels Lan Doky.

Whether performing solo piano concerts, leading his own trio, composing contemporary classical music or creating music for film and TV, Sebastian Zawadzki remains dedicated to building a personal musical language that connects contemporary classical composition, Nordic jazz, cinematic piano music and storytelling.
